It’s been an intense few days as we’ve been gearing up for quite a number of announcements over the next couple of weeks. Yesterday, we introduced the VIA NAS 7800 Board, which has been specifically designed to meet the needs of thin server and NAS segment system builders, and we have followed this with the launch of the new VIA VX800 Series of Digital Media IGP chipsets today.

We have been an industry pioneer in integrating the north and south bridges into a single chipset, beginning with the VIA VX700, and with the VIA VX800 Series we are building on this leadership by adding in improved video and DX9 graphics capabilities as well as enhanced connectivity features. This makes the chipset ideal for a variety of small form factor devices such as mini-notes and embedded systems. For more information, please see the press release here. |
