From Pico-ITX to Vista

I have to say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the coverage that has been sprouting up around our new Pico-ITX form factor. We showed a running demo of a board at Lunch@Piero’s during CES, but having learned our lesson from the Nano-ITX “launch” decided not to make too much noise about it until it was ready for production. From what I hear internally, work on the board is progressing smoothly though we have not set an official launch date yet.

Today is of course the official launch of Microsoft Windows Vista. We’ve posted detailed information on our website listing which of our chipsets, processors, and S3 Graphics GPUs support the new operating system. John and Fiona Gatt have also posted an FAQ about Vista on VIA Arena.
